As part of our team, you’ll provide practical and emotional support to help people like George live as independently as possible.
What does it take? Plenty of common sense, for a start. And it’s important that you’re interested in people and want to make a difference. You need to be someone who’s cheerful, patient and understanding – and encouraging, too, when service users find it hard to do things on their own.
The ability to listen is essential. But most important of all, you have to care about what you do and genuinely want to help people get the most out of each day. |
